Hi, my name is Juliana, I LOVE to swim. I am in 8th grade. I am looking at High schools, my 1st choice would be Bishop O' Dowd (ROCKS)in Oakland. If I get in I will be so EXCITED!!! My brother goes there, both of my parents went and graduated form there I want to be a legacy. At school my current grade point average is 3.28 with a horrible religion grade but I am talking to my teacher and bringing up my grade. I play no sports at school, but, I swim on O.H.T.C .we are second in Oakland. This summer I swam Freestyle and Breaststroke. But I absolutely hate breaststroke, but freestyle is my favroite.Our coaches Chris, Colby and Ann are so nice but I hate when I have to swim breaststroke. Chris and Colby take over in the summer, and Ann runs the fall and spring. Right mow I have practices three days a week.My brother Paul, plays lacrosse. He will be a senoir at Bishop O' Dowd when I am a freshman. At school I am reading the book The Color Purple and Monster. In math we are working in Algerbra 1/2. In social studies we are working on the Revolutionary War. I have a 500 to 1,000 word essay to write about a adult, I was going to do it about my best freind, but it has to be about a adult. So I am going to do it about my grandfather (papa) when he was a school teacher in the time when he had foster kids.I have to get braces in the next couple of weeks. I am not looking forward to two years of no gum! I now have braces. Even if you do not see any changes on my website still cheak my links.
NOVEMBER
Sorry I have not posted in a while, I am trying to make my literature page work. I am going to the Bishop O' Dowd open house this Sunday. I am also going to my brothers lacrosse game. Report cards are comming out next week. I hope I get a good report card. I now have found out that I have a B- in religion. I went to the Bishop O' Dowd open house yesterday and I had a good time. I saw the swimming coach there and I am going to hopefully swim for him if I get in. I also saw the Drector of Admissions, Tyler Kentz, he is very nice and I hope to see him at one of my brothers games.Then I went to my brothers lacrosse game, they won! They went into overtime, they won 8 to 7. He almost scored. I have to use these eye drops, because my eye feels funky. We went to Holy Names high to day and it was very nice but I still want to go to Bishop O' Dowd. I got my report card on Tuesday and I have a 3.7 GPA and I scored 81 percentile on the core subjects and 76 on all of the subjects on the standardized testing. My brother won his play-off game 9-8, my mom and I were so worried that we would go into overtime.

Hello it has been a long time since I posted last, alot has happend. During thanksgiving my family and I went to London, our trip was wonderful. We spent most of our time in Exter, 4 hours outside of London. While we were there we saw Stonehenge, Tingenhel castle, and we spent almost a day there. In Exter we would spend most of our time sleeeping, shopping, exploring, or watching my dad and brother work. The hotel we stayed in was great, is was so beautiful, outside of our window we could see a beautiful Church. The people there were so wonderful, they knew all of my family's names, since there are four of us if we were looking for someone, they could tell us where they went. In London we spent about four hours sightseeing. It was in all a wonderful trip, but it was too short.
January
In Jan. since I am in 8th grade, to go to the high school of my choice, I have to take the HSPT test (High School Placement Test). Before I took the test, I went to the Bishop O' Dowd, HSPT prep course which i think helped me alot on my test. This month was very laid back.
Febuaury
I havent curently done anything great or good even, but I am proud that I got on the honor roll with all A's, and B's.
